DJ Yasu started DJing in 1995 as Yasufumi Oomura carried his motto "express yourself!" in the music industry. He's been successfully organizing a monthly events, VIBES on second Saturdays at club CORE, Roppongi for 3 years since year 2000, and it has been attracting over 500 capacity each and every time, now he has his own lable, VIBESRECORDS. He produced a hit EP, "pharcde mega mix" and "expressyourself" series released up to volume 8. His DJ style is gentle and powerful to express his passion for HIP HOP culture, mainly inspired from jazz and soul of the 90's. DJ TONY TOUCH had commented on his style as, "the best scratch of humor!" He have also worked with ROCK STEADY CREW, FUNKDOOBIEST with a sharp and funky style, on the other hand, his style is easy to get into for those who had never heard HIP HOP before.
He has a history of organizing a monthly event, THRONG, every Thursday at club BALL in Shibuya as representing his own lable, VIBESRECORDS, now he is organizing another events and packing the club each time with energy and wide genre of parties, showcases to entertain his audiences at CLUB AIR in Daikanyama, and once you enter that world, you'll be hooked on it!
